Address and Directions:

Little Moon Tattoo

105 Abeel Street, Kingston NY 12401

I recently moved into a new storefront location! My studio in Kingston is now in the Rondout neighborhood.

There is plenty of free parking nearby. You can park right out front, one block down Abeel in the public parking lot, or behind the building (accessed by a small one-way street) in the secret parking lot. If you park here, you can enter through the back door of the building (its unlocked).

COVID safety

  • I am no longer requiring masks in the studio, however we ask that all clients be vaccinated and boosted if possible, or can provide a negative Covid test within 24 hours of appointment.

  • I ask that clients continue to use COVID-safe precautions outside of the building/leading up to your appointment, and let me know/reschedule your appointment if you’re feeling sick.

  • Please let me know if you have traveled by plane or if you have had any contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID.

  • The studio is small - please do not bring more than 1 guest.

    Payment Options

  • I accept card, Venmo, and cash. Card transactions will have a 7% additional fee to include required sales tax and processing fees. If you need a generalized quote beforehand lmk!

    General tips

  • Please come on time - no more than 5 minutes early and no more than 10 minutes late (unless you've contacted me that day to let me know you'll be running late). If you are very late and I don't hear from you, your appointment is cancelled and you will need a new deposit to secure an appointment.

  • It's a great idea to bring a book, headphones, a game, etc. Sometimes when I'm concentrating I'm not able to chat much, and have a hard time giving my attention to anything but the tattoo - please don't be offended!

  • Wear comfortable clothing that doesn't get in the way of the area to be tattooed, and bring a hair tie if the tattoo will be near upper body/face. I need to be able to fully access the area without constantly moving fabric/hair etc. It’s not sanitary for clothing to be touching fresh tattoos, or for me to touch/adjust your clothing with gloves on. Side note: ink tends to find its way onto your favorite pair of pants/shoes/etc - wear something you don’t care too much about just in case! Our studio can get hot at times, so dress light if the weather is warm.

  • I want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so if the area being tattooed requires nudity and you are uncomfortable removing clothing just let me know. I have pasties and disposable covers available. For a back tattoo, bring a zip-up hoodie or button-up shirt that you can wear backwards. I have no problem with nudity - as a tattoo artist I’m completely used to it, but again, I want you to be comfortable. This is a private studio - no walk-ins, no unnecessary foot traffic.

I will also check in with you throughout the appointment. Just mention it if you need any accommodation not provided automatically.

  • Don't skip breakfast/lunch! Eat a meal in the few hours before getting tattooed, or bring a snack. There are lots of food options nearby!

  • HYDRATE the day before and get a good nights sleep - it matters, trust me! Bring a water bottle, you can refill it as needed!

Thanks for reading, and please let me know if you have any questions at all!
See you soon,

Julia

Accessibility note: We are in a fully accessible building. There are 2 steps at the front and a ramp can be set up if needed.
